Ellie has been trying solid foods. We started with the rice cereal. She wasn't quite sure about it. After about a week, we added in applesauce. She would prefer us not to mix the two. She likes the sweetness of the applesauce. She still has some times where she seems real confused about why we are doing this. Once she gets a few spoons of it, she keeps her mouth open like a little bird. It is so much fun!!!
Oh what fun!! One thing I had to do with Averi was give her a spoonful or two of the cereal, then give her a drink of milk from her bottle. I would go back and forth like that. It seemed to really help her learn to swallow the cereal. :)
ReplyDeleteThat was hilarious when she was trying to eat it for the first time... We laughed really hard at her and then she would just smile that precious smile of hers!!!
